Okay, so Obama recorded this memoir entitled “Dreams from My Father” in 1995. It was so good, in fact, it earned him a Grammy award! It tells the story of his multiracial background, childhood in Hawaii and Indonesia, college career in Los Angeles and New York, and years as a community organizer in Chicago, before entering Harvard Law School in 1988. All good stuff, riiiiiight?.... Well, apparently he speaks of some drug use and there are some other "jarring" statements referring to his past. So?!!! How many past and CURRENT presidents do we have that overtly admitted to drug use and other ill's? It would be pretty stupid to try and butcher audio snippets to slander him in light of that. This time he's trying to cement his stardom with the greats( Jackie Chan, Jet li, Donnie yen, ect...) with the sequel to the mucho ass kickin' Ong Bak!! It looks like it has nothing to do with the first one, but who cares!!!! Get ready to see the new king of ass-kicking sit on his throne once more!!!!

Long distance can be a very trying obstacle for any relationship and believe me..it is. However, what i have come to learn is that both people have to be in it for the right reasons. I have a very pure, true love for Jasmine and I thank God that she is in my life everyday! We feel EXACTLY the same for one another and there is never a question or doubt about that. Many can attest to the fact that it's ridiculously difficult to find a good woman or man, let alone real love!!! And let me clear this up for some people...real love takes work, and a willingness to fully understand one another. This is why 90% of long distance relationships fail....once the physical element is gone, there is nothing else. I am blessed to have such a beautiful woman by my side, both inside and out! There is nothing like a real love to brighten your day....I love you baby.

Well,
by now i think most of have heard about this little Soulja boi/ Ice-t feud going on. It presents a very important question...is the thought and soul behind hip-hop truly dying in a youthful blaze of commercialism, or is this just an isolated incident? Well, whatever you may believe, i think these vids are just flat out hilarious!

I went digging for treasure and found SANTOGOLD!!!

So I got this new album from Santogold (which is Santi White and many collaborators). Her sound is very reminiscent of M.I.A , but with a punk/ska/ electronica tint to it. She actually had another band before this, it was a punk/ska group called stiffed, but now she is on a whole new thing. Santi is a singer/songwriter/lyricist/music manager...crazy!!! On this particular project she teamed up with an impressive cast of producers ; FreQNasty, Switch, Disco D, Spankrock's Naeem and XXXchange and a few others. she said they put this album together in THREE WEEKS!! Well, it's awesome, CHECK IT OUT!!!

My girlfriend is amazing!!!

I must take this time to talk about my sweetheart. She is an amazing person and I love her so much, it hurts. Unfortunately, we are long distance right now (I'm in Atlanta, she's in Michigan), but we're making it work! Anyhoo...She also happens to be an amazing singer (a very stylish..sexy..singer..) and she is performing at Mac's Bar and I'm so mad I can't be there...but i'm hoping to get the vids so I can post them on here...I made some tracks for her..she wrote the songs and the rest is history!!! Rejoice people!! The next great artist is here!!!!

Now on this one, I must take the time to introduce you to my day job!(lol). I am one of three co-ceos of the film production crew known as Newlanta Films. Myself(Chris Terry , for those who don't know) Justin Poage and Kenneth Bradley are the creative force behind this team along with our producer Kimberly Huggins. The crew was first founded in 2001 at the prestigious Savannah College of Art and Design and we have continued our creative vision of making fresh and entertaining movies. We have experience in all facets of production including writing, directing, cinematography...even catering!!lol...but seriously, we know our stuff. Our latest endeavor is associate producing Marlon cambell's production, Oblivious. We're excited and I shall keep you updated on the film's progress. Action!

Well, I have to admit...I actually hated the cartoon. I thought it was pretty damn retarded, and I refused to waste my good Saturdays and cap'n crunch on that! So now that I've established that I am not a "speed racer purist", why make this post? Good question. Well, I am a fan of movies. And not just any movies...cool movies. The Wachowskis seem to have done it again with this one and i'm pretty excited!! I mean...cool races, fight scenes, and colors, colors, colors galore!!! Whats not to like? Her statements, in a nutshell, claimed that Barack Obama wouldn't be succeeding in the race for the White House if he weren't black. Word? Obama dismissed the comments as "rediculous" and who wouldnt? You mean to tell me that people are soooo infatuated with the fact that he is black, his qualifications aren't important?!!! If that were the case, I'd run for prez!!! Pardon me for getting political, but F$@k you, Effie!!! The people like the candidates simply because of their qualities and qualifications. College-The great american con pt. 1

Well, I don't wanna sound bitter, but....COLLEGE IS A SHAM!!!!! Okay, let me put this into perspective. Take myself for instance...I graduated from SCAD (Savannah College of Art and design) like two years ago....film degree and all...but I am currently employed at a restaurant making peanuts. What I want is peanut butter and jelly!!! But unfortunately I have no bread. (clever, huh!) I'm sure that many of you guys feel my pain. I mean...this is what we were supposed to do, right? not only that, but the fact that I'm an "Art school weirdo" makes it just a wee bit tougher. ( I'm not a geek though, get it right.) Maybe I didn't make the right contacts or kiss the right ass in class, but I do have the skill so...what up though! Well I'm tired of that s#!t and my fellow compadres and I have decided to really make it happen in 08'!!! I will chronicle our journey into superstardom ( or depression) as it happens. I can't say that I regret going, because we have accomplished some good things. But now it's time the world knows. Stay tuned for the revolution.
